“Thank you so much for the awesome camp! My girls had an absolute blast! They loved every part of it. They have a great interest in volunteering next year if that is a possibility. She would love to spend more time out there!”

"I feel that helping with camps and one on ones (mentoring) has also helped me.  The more I learn about the horses from both of you I feel I become more confident in helping the kids that come out.  There is stuff I don’t think twice about doing now that I really had to dig deep to accomplish the first few times I was out.  Working with the horses and starting to learn to ride I feel has boosted my overall confidence in life.  Being able to get an animal that big to do what I want it to amazes me, and I can’t get enough of the on top of the world feeling I get when I am in the saddle.”

“The campers were learning respect for the animals, respect for each other and respect for their leaders. They were very attentive to the instructions and the instructors. The number of smiles and seemingly continual flow of laughter was endless. Life lessons in Jesus Christ were made real to the campers. The games always encouraged a little competition, a lot of teamwork and most of all just plain fun.”

“It was fun and amazing! I got to learn how to not scare the horses and we did fun activities that I really loved!” Her mother states,“I want to thank Providence Ranch Ministries for teaching my child important life lessons of caring for not only the beautiful horses, but about herself and others. She looked forward to every evening at Providence Ranch Ministries with enthusiasm. She not only had an opportunity to finally fulfill her dream of riding a horse, she also made new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. It was very special for her. She of course is asking to come again. I can’t tell you how perfect it worked out in our life at a time of financial stress that we were able to have this opportunity for her. I had been searching for horse camp web sites when someone mentioned the opportunity to me without even knowing that I was looking. God truly works in mysterious ways. Thank you so much.”

“Our family has been a part of PRM for three years. We have had the opportunity to help on the grounds and care for the horses, which is a highlight for all of my children. Our daughters have attended the summer horse camps and LOVED them. They have enjoyed being with the horses, meeting new people and being outdoors in God’s creation. Thank you for your hard work!”

“I really love horses, and I really want one, so I wanted to learn how to take care of one. PRM taught me a lot about horses: how to groom them, feed them, tack them up, and how to ride them. They also taught me about the language of horses. I’ve gotten really good at all of these things since the first day. Pam has not only taught me about horses, but she has been my mentor. She asks me how I am and what I’ve been up to. She really cares about me—she treats me like a student but also like a daughter. After lessons, they give me packets about horses and stories about living a Christian life. My time at the ranch has really helped me this past year, and I have really enjoyed my time there and look forward to going again.”
